Messy Sensory Play
Welcome to our Sensory Exploration class, specially designed for children from birth to 2 years old! This vibrant program invites your child to discover and engage with the world around them through a rich variety of sensory experiences.
In this interactive class, your little one will have the chance to explore an array of textures, sounds, colors, and more—each thoughtfully curated to ignite their senses and support developmental growth. We provide all the materials needed for a fun and stimulating experience, and while your child explores, we take care of all the planning and cleanup, ensuring that the mess stays in our house, not yours!
Notes:
Ingredients never include egg, nuts or tree-nuts. Some weeks we do use dairy as an ingredient but we always provide a dairy-free option
Have questions about that week's theme or ingredients? Email us at support@theheybrook.com or call us at 425-732-2345
A change of clothes is recommended to ensure your child is comfortable while they explore!

Benefits of Messy Play:
Sensory Development: Messy play provides children with opportunities to explore different textures, sounds, and colors, enhancing their sensory perception and helping them make sense of the world.
Creativity and Imagination: Engaging in messy activities allows children to experiment freely, fostering creativity and imaginative thinking as they manipulate materials and explore new ideas.
Fine Motor Skills: Playing with various materials supports the development of fine motor skills, as children grasp, squeeze, pour, and mold, which is essential for tasks like writing and self-care.
Emotional Expression: Messy play can also serve as an outlet for emotional expression, helping children process their feelings and develop emotional intelligence in a safe, supportive environment.
Social Skills: In a group setting, messy play encourages interaction and cooperation among children, promoting sharing, turn-taking, and communication skills.
